About Ronald Hickey

Ronald Hickey, Author, Publisher, Leadership Development Consultant, TEDxRoseville Licensee, has a B.A. in Public Administration from the University of San Francisco; Studied Business Finance at Stanford University, as well as Facilities Management at California State University, Sacramento; and Nuclear Propulsion Engineering Naval Nuclear Power School – United States Department of Defense/Naval Reactors. Ronald is also a retired-Assistant Superintendent of public schools.

Ronald owns and operates a full-service Business Consulting firm, Hickey Associates & Hickey, that focuses on Leadership Training and Organizational Performance Management. He created a People Strategy concept entitled “Illuminate Greatness” that he utilizes in conjunction with the “Hoola Hoop Paradigm,” a peak performance tool he also created and deploys to train organizations in peak performance management and leadership development. Ronald is a highly sought after speaker and lecturer and has written and published several books. He is a sub-contractor for the state of California as a Leadership Development Consultant. Ronald trains the United States Military personnel and many private sector clients in Leadership Development and Performance Improvement. His leadership experiences include Assistant Superintendent in California Public School Districts and Senior Vice President of a Program Management firm. Ronald is also the Founder and CEO of a National Think Tank, The HELIN Institute, which focuses on public policy research into education inequities, leadership development, and smart people policies that impact organizational performance. He is also the Publisher at Hickey House Books, and he owns the Hickey House Books imprint. Ronald is a member of the Roseville Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and a board member for the University of San Francisco Black Alumni Society. Ronald was recently awarded the license from TED Conferences to organize TEDxRoseville in his city of residence, Roseville, California. His vast experiences and knowledge are as follows:
